Housed in the beautiful 1905 heritage School of Arts building, the Gympie Regional Gallery has been a social hub for arts and culture in the region for over 25 years.
The Gallery showcases a diverse mix of professional and emerging artists from our region, as well as touring exhibitions from across Australia.
Join in a vibrant and engaging array of art classes, artist talks and tours, or simply drop by to explore our changing program of exhibitions.
Free entry, all welcome.
Open Tuesday – Friday 10am - 4pm. Saturday 10am – 2pm.
Closed Sundays and Public Holidays.
Gallery Temporary Closure: 27 January – 27 March 2026
Gympie Regional Gallery will temporarily close from Tuesday 27 January until Friday 27 March 2026 while Gympie Regional Council carries out important renewal works.
During this time, the Gallery will not be open to the public. The Gallery has worked closely with local artists, art groups, and schools to plan for the closure and minimise disruption to community programs and activities.
The Gallery is scheduled to reopen on Saturday 28 March 2026, with two new exhibitions.
