Research Experience Discussion: Ndebele Women of South Africa
Join local artist Heinke for a talk about her life during apartheid and how that influenced her to commence her PhD journey.
Heinke will talk about her research, and the deep insights into the how the women of the Ndzundza Ndebele tribe became the custodians of their unique cultural identity in the face of adverse conditions they endured for over 2000 years.
Held in conjunction with The Ndebele Women of South Africa Exhibition on view 18 October - 25 November 2023.
