A large part of the trail follows the Mary River where you can picnic, fish, swim, canoe and kayak.
Keep an eye out for the following wildlife that can be found in the river:
- Mary River Turtle
- Mary River Cod

- Platypus
You can take your dog for a walk along the trail, but make sure it is on a leash at all times.
There are signs along the trail tell you how far the next point of interest is, and if there are any stairs.
