Disaster Management Plans

Gympie Regional Council has several disaster management plans to help the community prepare, respond to, and recover from, severe weather events and emergencies.

The Local Disaster Management Plan (LDMP) provides a framework for prevention, preparation, response, and recovery in accordance with Disaster Management legislation:

The LDMP is an overarching document that details the structure, management arrangements and governance provisions which underpin the process of disaster management in the Gympie local government area (LGA).
