New Years Eve in Gympie
Grab the family and some friends and head to Nelson Reserve, Gympie on Tuesday 31 December from 5pm – 9pm to celebrate the start of a New Year and the ending of 2024!
Fireworks: 9pm
There’ll be plenty to do with scrumptious food stalls, activities for the kids and fireworks that’ll be sure to have everyone grinning from ear to ear. Bring the family, and a picnic blanket or some camping chairs and enjoy some live music from incredible local artists AYLA, Sailing in Space, The Mary Rivers and Highly Swung.

Road closures: Please note, to facilitate the NYE Fireworks display, Monkland Street Gympie from Bruce Highway to Jaycee Way roundabout and Jaycee Way from River Road to Monkland Street roundabout will be closed from 3pm to 10pm with traffic control in place and detours setup for pedestrians and traffic. The Nelson Reserve carparks will be closed from 12pm to 10pm on Sunday 31 December 2024.
