Community Recovery Survey 2023
The weather events of 2022 affected everyone in our region and the recovery process is ongoing. Council is committed to growing its understanding of the needs of the community to assist with preparation and recovery planning for weather events and other natural disasters.
To ensure planning and recovery projects remain relevant to the needs of the community, council’s Community Development team developed and rolled out a Community Recovery Survey.
This survey was designed to gather information from residents, business owners and members of local organisations in the Gympie region to help plan for the future and build a more resilient region.
This survey is now closed however our recovery work is ongoing.
Survey aims:
- Help us plan for future weather events and recovery
- Inform council’s recovery work and projects
- Assist the work of our Community Recovery and Resilience Officer (jointly funded by the Queensland and Australian Governments)
