Time: Check-in starts at 6 AM, with the event kicking off at 7 AM

Location: Start at the Gold Mining Museum and finish at Historic Gympie Station on Tozer Street Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, the Rush to the Rattler has something for everyone. Choose from two fantastic options: a 7.06 km run for those looking to challenge themselves or a 3 km walk that’s perfect for families and participants of all ages and abilities. After crossing the finish line, celebrate your achievement with a delicious sausage sizzle, the perfect way to refuel and mingle with fellow participants. But the fun doesn’t stop there! Hop aboard the silver bullet train for a scenic ride back to Monkland Station, and then enjoy a comfortable shuttle ride on Lewis the Bus to Light Horse Oval. This event promises to be a fun-filled family day, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Don’t forget to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat to stay cool and hydrated while you enjoy the festivities! Please note that all children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.
