Printmaking Workshop: Printing to a T
Guided by local printmaking artist, Libby Parke, you'll design, carve, and print your very own lino print onto a tea towel—no press required!
What You'll Learn:
- Designing: Begin by sketching your design on a pad, drawing inspiration from Queensland's stunning flora and fauna (reference images provided).
- Tracing: Transfer your design onto a lino block.
- Carving: Use specialized tools to carve your unique design into the block.
- Printing: Roll ink onto your lino block and use rolling pins to print your design onto a tea towel.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a beautifully customized tea towel and the skills to continue printing at home.
All materials provided. Suitable for beginners and creatives of all levels. A perfect Christmas gift!
Bookings essential via TryBooking or call the Gallery on 5481 0733.
