Local artist Heinke Butt explores how the garment is used as an object of creative expression by Ndzundza Ndebele women, and how historical events have shaped their cultural identity.
Uncover how Ndzundza Ndebele women use the garment as visual language to express their cultural identity in the contemporary landscape of South Africa.
Official Exhibition Opening: Saturday 21 October at 2pm, followed by Artist Talk with Heinke Butt.
