Live and Local Event – Music in the Park

With a fabulous line-up that just happens to fall on Mother’s Day this year, this is a great opportunity to bring your Mum, a picnic rug or chair and the family for a relaxing afternoon.

Enjoy the beautiful songs performed by musical duo Soul Tree Union. Kate Marian Rose and Paully Rivers have joined their voices, musical talents, and songful hearts to create Soul Tree Union’s delicious sounds. Songs written by this engaging duo are eclectic; contemporary folk peppered with alt-country-rock, a splash of dreamy pop and a dash of salty sea shanty. 

Joining the line-up is the local singer-songwriter, Zac Gunthorpe with his enchanting natural talent and an intimate familiarity with the songwriting style of the Beatles and The Byrds.

Rounding out the afternoon, the incredible Harvey Jazz Duo AKA ‘Highly Swung’ showcase a tableau of favourite jazz melodies. Saxophonist Svengali, Alex Harvey leads the way in a daring reconnoitre and reconnaissance mission in search of rhythms and segues from a golden era of retro jazz while Sarah responds with sparkling vocals that will shiver your timbres.

A magical moment of extemporaneous music where anything goes and que sera sera!
