First round of the Gympie Regional Council Coordinated 1080 Baiting

The first round of the Gympie Regional Council Coordinated 1080 Baiting for Wild Dogs and Feral Pigs will commence on 16 March and end on 25 March 2021.

If you wish to participate, please register with Council via 1300 307 800 before 9 March 2021.

Participants should review the GRC 1080 Baiting Advice Sheet and the 1080 Fact Sheet to familiarise yourself with your legal obligations when undertaking 1080 Baiting.

Participants must register with Council every baiting event, so your current property eligibility can be assessed. Once registered, you will be responsible for notifying all properties within 1.5km of the property being baited. On your chosen day of baiting you will supply your fresh, thawed meat bait material (refer to the 1080 Baiting Advice Sheet for details) at your chosen bait station, for injection by GRC Authorised Officers. You must then comply with ALL conditions on your signed Deed Poll (provided with prepared baits) and the 1080 Baiting Advice Sheet.
