Explore your kids’ artistic side at one of the Gympie Galleries' school holiday activities.

Join local ceramic artist, Prue McLeod of Pesart Art on Thursday, 23 September in ‘Tex the Turtle’ workshop. Spend the morning rolling, moulding and coiling clay to create your own turtle friend. This workshop is appropriate for ages 6+.

Spend the afternoon cutting and pasting in ‘Fun with Collage’ workshop on Thursday, 23 September. Relax and unwind as you and your little ones discover the art of collage. Use different materials to create your own unique picture. This workshop is appropriate for ages 7+.

Join us on Wednesday, 29 September for ‘Transform a Tote’ workshop. Use paint, markers, yarn and a variety of fabrics to decorate and personalise your very own tote bag. This workshop is appropriate for ages 7+.

Make a statement with your own handcrafted badges! Join us on Wednesday, 29 September for a ‘Fantastic Badges’ workshop and get stuck into cutting, gluing and designing your own funky badges. This workshop is appropriate for ages 7+.

Join artist Patricia van Kempen in ‘Fun with Paint & Stencils’ workshop on Friday, 1 October. Explore the use of sponges, acrylic paint, stencils, collage and the ever favourite, Posca pens to create your own animal design! This workshop is appropriate for ages 6+.

Are sculptures more your thing? Come on down to the ‘Love your Name’ workshop on Friday, 1 October. Design a small 3D sculpture using clay and paint. Decorate with fluorescent card, colourful pipe cleaners, straws, beads, buttons and all sorts of wonderful things. This workshop is appropriate for ages 4+.

All workshops are $12 per person. Bookings are essential.
