Gympie’s leading technology showcase ‘EnviroTech Day’ is back

Have you ever wanted to reduce your carbon footprint and live more sustainably but not sure where to start? Come along to Gympie’s leading technology showcase ‘EnviroTech Day’ on Saturday, 6 August 2022 at 9am in Nelson Reserve, Gympie.

Deep dive into the world of environmentally conscious technology and learn from the experts. There will be a range of stall holders to guide you to a more sustainable life including; electric vehicle displays, solar system and battery installers, waste management tips, water re-use technology, sustainable living, off-grid options, and much more!

Gympie Regional Council Mayor Glen Hartwig says anyone that is interested in sustainable living should come along to Envirotech Day. “EnviroTech Day aims to showcase green advancements and the outstanding local businesses that make our community more sustainable. “I encourage all residents to attend this great event as they will certainly learn something that will make a big difference in their lives,” he said.

Throughout the day, there will be a series of lucky ‘door’ prizes drawn. Get the kids engaged and learning with sustainably focused games available at stalls.

The day is organised by Gympie and District Sustainability Alliance in partnership with Gympie Regional Council, Gympie and District Landcare Group and Gympie Living Magazine.
