Everyone welcomed to the first Community Prayer Breakfast
Members of the Gympie region are invited to join Mayor Glen Hartwig and Gympie Regional Councillors to the 2023 Community Prayer Breakfast.
The event will be held on Friday 24 February, from 6.30am in Memorial Park, Gympie. This year’s prayer breakfast will include guest speaker and accomplished violinist Hayden Wiseman.
Hayden plays high quality, uplifting music designed to bless people. He has played mostly in churches, but aims to play for people of all backgrounds and cultures.
He obtained a bachelor’s degree in instrumental performance from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and has performed over 300 concerts mostly in churches and aged care homes throughout Australia and New Zealand. He has produced four CD albums and a DVD. Hayden focuses on playing inspirational music and to play in such a way to reach the heartstrings. Most of the music he plays is creations or arrangements of great Christian songs, adapting them for solo violin and piano and/or orchestra accompaniment.
Mayor Glen Hartwig said he is looking forward to the first Community Prayer Breakfast, which has taken over from the Mayoral Prayer Breakfast from previous years. “The Community Prayer Breakfast is about coming together as a community and giving thanks for all that we have as individuals, families, and a region.” said Mayor Hartwig.
Meal tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased by calling the Wesleyan Church on 5482 3618, or at the venue on the morning of the event. All tickets include tea, coffee, and a hot breakfast. The event is in support of Lifehouse Gympie. Lifehouse Pregnancy and Baby Help is a nationally-registered Charity formed in Gympie to emotionally and practically support those experiencing unexpected pregnancy, pregnancy or baby challenges or the loss of a pregnancy or infant.
