Mary Christmas Road Closures

Council wishes to advise that road closures and parking restrictions will be in place along Mary Street and Smithfield Street, Gympie from 3pm to 10pm on Wednesday 11 December and Wednesday 18 December to facilitate the ‘Mary Christmas’ community celebrations. 

Road Closures: Mary Street (from Monkland Street to the Fiveways roundabout) and Smithfield Street (from Mary Street to Young Street) will be closed from 3pm to 10pm on Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 18 December 2024.  

Parking Restrictions: Parking will not be available along Mary Street and Smithfield Street from 3pm on Wednesday 11 and Wednesday 18 December. Please observe the detour routes around the affected road closures.  

It is recommended residents and visitors utilise parking in surrounding streets during this time.
