It's time to celebrate the youth of Gympie region

Youth Week 2025 is set to bring four days of celebration and connection to the Gympie Region, shining a spotlight on the incredible talent, creativity, resilience and contributions of our young people.  

Running from Monday, 7 April to Thursday, 10 April at the Australian Institute of Music in Gympie, Gympie Regional Council will host daily Youth sessions from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Each day will offer something unique featuring live music, presentations, short films, information sessions and complimentary refreshments.  

Gympie Regional Council Mayor Hartwig said that Youth Week is an important annual celebration, highlighting the incredible talent and potential of the youth in the Gympie Region.

“We have some incredibly talented young people in our region, and it’s important to take time to recognise and celebrate them. Youth Week is the perfect opportunity to do that,” Cr Hartwig said.

“Head along to Gympie Region’s Youth Week celebrations! With four days of tailored sessions for young people, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.” Cr Hartwig said.

Each session is completely free and showcases local musicians, service and educations providers, resilience and preparedness experts, and local youth groups.
