Station Road and Mellor Street Signalised Intersections Upgrade Works

Council wishes to advise of a series of upgrade works being undertaken at various key intersections in Gympie.

These road safety improvements are proudly funded through the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program, the Queensland Government Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and Gympie Regional Council and aim to improve road and pedestrian safety, specifically in the following intersections:

Station Road / Tozer Street / Tozer Lane
Mellor Street / Chapple Street / Lady Mary Terrace

Residents and businesses near these locations might experience some noise associated with the works.

These will commence in April 2025 and be completed by late September 2025, weather permitting.

Appropriate and approved traffic management, detours and fencing will be in place at each location for the duration of the respective works for public safety and to minimise any unnecessary disruption.
