Station Road Widening Project
Developed with the support of the Queensland Government’s Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme in association with Gympie Regional Council, the Station Road Widening Project sort to improve road safety and pedestrian connectivity within Gympie’s CBD.
The project objectives included:
- Widening the existing road to provide kerb and channel.
- Improve pedestrian access by providing a 2.4m wide concrete path connecting Cogan Street roundabout to Bent Street.
- Upgrading the stormwater drainage.
- A complete reseal of Station Road
